Black box vs provenance
Why identity and consent stay attached to every hour.
A black-box vendor drops files. Harbor delivers hours with a trail: who captured them, under what consent, and how they were checked.
What attaches at capture
Harbor Passport puts persistent identity, consent records, and capture integrity on every asset. Context is not reconstructed later.
What you receive
Structured manifests, quality scores, exclusions, and audit trails ready for foundation-model training pipelines.
Zero custody of your private data
Harbor’s default is not to hold your private datasets. Programmes run with governed intake. Client-facing deliverables are de-identified. Contributors are not listed in client exports without programme-specific consent.
Why this matters
Production systems fail when they meet the world. Provenance lets you trust the hour, rerun a check, and drop a clip that should never have shipped.
