Harbor Enterprise
How Harbor buys data from businesses, captures what does not exist yet, and licenses it to AI labs.
Harbor Enterprise is where Harbor does business with companies. It works in two directions. Harbor buys data from businesses that already produce it, and sells licensed data to the AI labs and research teams that train on it.
Most of Harbor’s enterprise work now starts on the buying side: paying companies for the record of how their work gets done.
What Harbor buys
AI labs need real records of how work happens in specific industries, not synthetic data they generated themselves. Most companies already hold that record and have nowhere to sell it. Harbor buys it in two ways.
- Workflow data you already have. Tickets, call notes, CRM pipelines, inspections, contracts, invoices, project boards, operating procedures and internal docs. Harbor values it, takes read-only access, removes every identifying detail, and pays you for each package that is accepted. See Sell your company’s data.
- Data you do not have yet. Harbor ships cameras, mounts and capture kit, trains your team on a clear brief, and pays your team for accepted footage of their day-to-day work. Faces, voices and personal data are scrubbed from every file. See Managed programs.
The same rules apply to both: you approve every package before anything is shared, your company is never named to buyers, and nothing raw reaches a buyer.
What Harbor sells
- Licensed datasets. Off-the-shelf collections across egocentric video, video, audio and Scientific Media, each with documented rights. Harbor confirms the exact subset and licence terms for each buyer.
- Commissioned programmes. New data recorded to a buyer’s spec through the Harbor network or a partner company’s team.
- De-identified workflow data. The packages Harbor buys from businesses, licensed under contract to vetted AI labs for training and evaluation.
See Buying data from Harbor for how a licence is agreed and paid.
Who Harbor works with
- Data partners. Companies whose teams run their work through software, with real operating history, and an owner, CEO or COO who can approve each package. Data you hold on behalf of your own clients is out of scope.
- Buyers. Vetted AI labs and research teams training frontier models. Workflow data is never resold to a partner’s competitors or published.
