Vetting and matching

How Harbor reviews applications and sends invitations.

Vetting confirms identity, tax residency, domain claims, and programme fit.

What vetting includes

Profile review, credential or work-sample checks for specialised domains, and compliance screening. Robotics, clinical, legal, and safety programmes may need extra checks. Harbor does not publish client names during vetting.

How long it takes

Most applications are reviewed within one to two weeks, depending on domain and how fast you reply. Niche specialties with live demand can move faster.

International work

Eligibility depends on local law, tax residency, payout country, and data-handling rules. Your onboarding profile captures residency so matching respects those constraints.

After approval

You complete payout setup and workspace activation before paid work. Then matching waits on client demand.
