Rates, schedules, tax, and disputes for experts.
Experts are paid as independent contractors through Harbor’s approved payout partners.
Rates
Set in the invitation. They are not changed after you accept. Structure may be per task, per hour, or milestone.
When money arrives
Schedules are programme-specific and visible in the workspace. Most programmes batch payment after work passes quality review.
Tax
You handle tax in your jurisdiction. Harbor collects forms required for payout (for example W-9 or W-8BEN) and does not give tax advice.
Currency
Depends on tax residency and available payout rails. Shown during setup. Currency for a programme is fixed in the invitation.
Disputes
Use the in-programme thread first. Then operations, with programme ID and timestamps. See Disputes and support.
