Sell your company’s data
How Harbor values, de-identifies, licenses and pays for the workflow data your business already produces.
Your company already holds something AI labs pay for: the record of how your work actually gets done. Harbor turns that record into licensed training data and pays your business for it. It costs nothing to keep and nothing to start.
Five steps
- Tell Harbor what you run on. A short form: which systems you use, roughly how much is in each, and a little about your company. About five minutes.
- A short call. You decide what is shared. Together you agree which records are in scope and which protections apply.
- Harbor prepares the data. You grant read-only access. Harbor removes identifying details, then cleans and formats every record.
- Licensed under contract. The prepared dataset goes to vetted AI labs for training and evaluation. Your company is never named.
- You are paid. Once the dataset is delivered and accepted, you are paid as set out in your signed agreement.
From your side, that is usually one call and granting read-only access.
What qualifies
Operational records from the tools your team already uses: CRM pipelines, support tickets, contracts, invoices, project boards, SOPs and internal docs. If your team runs its work through software, there is a record of how that work gets done.
Harbor looks for:
- Enough people doing real work to produce a meaningful record of it.
- Years of operating history.
- Established systems your teams already run on, with history behind them.
- An owner, CEO or COO who can scope the partnership and approve each package.
- Records your company owns. Data you hold on behalf of your own clients is out of scope.
How a package is valued and paid
Every package is valued individually, and you see the number before anything is shared. The offer depends on your data sources, volume, history, quality, access terms and due diligence. Bigger teams with longer history generally produce a deeper record and a larger package.
Each package is agreed up front and paid once it is accepted. Payment timing is set out in your signed agreement. As your business keeps producing data, new packages can follow, with no obligation.
Your dashboard shows which datasets were valued, who made an offer, what you accepted, and what has been paid.
How your data is protected
Read-only in, de-identified out. Harbor never needs write access to your systems.
Before anything leaves processing, Harbor finds and replaces every identifying detail, across every file type:
- Names, emails, phone numbers and addresses.
- Account, invoice and card numbers.
- API keys, passwords and other credentials.
- Faces and voices in recorded footage.
And throughout:
- Read-only access, revoked when the project ends.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Originals kept only for processing, then deleted.
- A full audit trail of every package.
- Nothing is shared until you approve the scope, the sources and the terms.
- Nothing is published or resold to your competitors, and your company is never named to buyers.
Common questions
Will an AI lab use my data to compete with me? No. Labs use the data to teach models how real work gets done. They are not building businesses in your industry, and your company is never named.
Will my customers’ information be exposed? No. Personal and customer-identifying details are removed during processing, and the originals are deleted once processing is complete.
Is this one-off or recurring? Each package is agreed and paid on its own. Many partners license new data as it accumulates, but there is no obligation to.
What if we need data we do not have yet? Harbor can equip your team to record new workflows, then scrub, review and license that footage the same way. See Managed programs.
